Best time to trek
Gorilla trekking is possible year-round, but the drier months offer the most comfortable conditions. The two dry seasons, from June to September and December to February, bring firmer trails and easier hiking, and are the most popular times to visit. The wetter months are greener and quieter, with fewer trekkers, though trails can be muddy. Whenever you go, some rain is always possible in this montane forest.
